Deskripsi
Blood Nitrogen Mixed-Activated Carbon (BN-AC) containing multiple nitrogen functional group was successfully prepared with pig blood meal as raw material and phosphoric acid as activator. These nitrogen-containing functional groups will provide more adsorption sites, thus, the adsorption efficiency of carbon materials is significantly improved. Research shows that BN-AC was used to remove phenol from wastewater, Under the optimum technological conditions, the maximum adsorption capacity and removal rate of phenol by BN-AC were 56.35 mg/g and 94.18%, respectively. This study not only realized the resource utilization of waste pig blood and expanded the selection range of activated carbon raw materials, but more importantly contributed to the current environmental protection field.
