The scientific article is devoted to the study of the main trends in the development of banking in Russia to develop a strategy for credit organizations. The relevance of the study is determined by the active process of incorporating innovations and digital technologies in banking that transform the entire sector. The relationship of the impact of globalization and digitalization on the formation of banking trends is considered. The author analyzes the development of a strategy for commercial banks taking into account the latest banking trends by integrating with fintech startups and by developing their own technologies and innovations. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are highlighted.
