International Subject Indexes are defined as indexes other than SSCI, SCI, SCI-E and AHCI by the T.C. InterUniversity Council. However, as this definition is very broad, International Subject Indexes are reviewed in this paper in light of related literature, current situations and up-to-date information. In addition, suggestions are presented on what might be included in the International Subject Indexes related to health sciences.
