From the oral memories of the Xukuru Ororubá (Pesqueira and Poção /PE), we analyzed the migration of individuals of indigenous people in the latter half of the twentieth century. The migrations were recalled historical processes of disputes over land encroached by plantations of tomatoes and fruits Factory Fish farmers and ranchers. Many families Xukuru migrated to the outskirts of the city, such as those that formed the neighborhood "Xucurus" in urban Pesqueira, farming and spent the workers in the industries in the city. Other Xukuru following the trajectories of relatives and friends, in major urban centers saw changes and improvements in living conditions. The Greater São Paulo was the fate of some of these migrants, where fixed abode. In both spaces where migrated, we observed different times, routes of travel, social relationships in everyday work experiences in situated on the borders between country and city.
