Deskripsi
Objective: The aim in this research is to explain the dimensions and components of human spiritual growth and analyze it in terms of Iran’s Education Fundamental Reform Document. Method: The research method is descriptive and includes document analysis and content analysis, and it has a practical approach. The population of the study consisted of two parts: the documents related to dimensions and components of human spiritual growth as well as the Education Fundamental Reform Document, enacted in November 2011. Based on the nature of this study and due to the limited number of the statistical population, the whole population was selected and analyzed. The instrumentation comprised a researcher–made content analysis checklist. The data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive indicators in Shannon entropy process. Findings: The major findings of this research are as follow: a) Based on the existing evidence and related documents, the conceptual framework of human spiritual growth can be categorized into three dimensions and 29 components. b) On the whole, human spiritual growth components have been referred to 168 times, with the high frequency of 41.7% in the “operational objectives and remedies” section and the low frequency of 1.2% in the “mission statement”. C) Among these dimensions, “morality” with the information load rate of 0.839 and the importance coefficient of 0.373 received the most attention, whereas “reasoning” was paid the least attention with the information load rate of 0.670 and the importance coefficient of 0.298.
