HSCT is an established treatment of choice for several pediatric conditions whereas its role is evolving in several others. With refinements in the conditioning regimens, improved transplant techniques, better supportive care and advances in strategies to tackle transplant related complications, HSCTs have become safer. With wider accessibility and the expanding spectrum of potential indications, HSCTs are gaining an important role in the treatment of several pediatric conditions.
