Michael F. Kennelly, S.J., (May 22, 1914 – January 3, 2011) was an Irish-born American Jesuit and academic administrator. He was a member of the Society of Jesus for more than seventy-seven years.Kennelly served as the 13th president of Loyola University New Orleans from 1970 until 1974. He was also the founder of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory in Houston, Texas. Kennelly spent thirty-three of his years of his priesthood working in Tampa, Florida on three separate occasions.
